Southwold Beach Portraits
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Beckie of Beckie Egan Photography in Southwold, Suffolk.
Beckie and I connected earlier in the year via Instagram and finally met for this shoot. Both of us have a love for being at the coast and by the sea, so we were in our element. It was a pretty relaxed affair, with plenty of chit chat along the way, not to mention the many laughs as we placed ourselves in front of each other’s cameras.
Come the end of the day, I think we both came to the conclusion that we preferred being behind the camera rather than in front of it, as is the case with most photographers.
Did I have a good time? Most definitely. It had been a while since I had shot anything like this, however, I felt very relaxed and in control of what I wanted to achieve in terms of images.
It was a fun morning and something I would definitely like to do more of, given the opportunity. If anyone is interested in coastal based shoots then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
