Hello, and thanks for stopping by...
I am a self-taught landscape photographer based in the beautiful coastal town of Aldeburgh in Suffolk. I have a genuine love for the Suffolk coastline, and before living here, I would often frequent it most weekends to capture the vast, wide-open skies.
From the beginning of my photographic journey, I developed a great passion and enthusiasm for the medium. I have a real passion for the great outdoors, and I never tire of those early morning starts to capture the beautiful colour and mood of the countryside and coastlines that Suffolk and the surrounding areas offer. It’s not called an area of outstanding natural beauty for nothing!
My style is one of expression, creating familiarity and a sense of place. I often plan and craft my imagery weeks in advance. Where I can, I endeavour to go beyond the descriptive to create often thought-provoking and minimalistic work which lends itself to telling a story beyond the frame.
I have had my work shortlisted in the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition, along with being featured in local and major publications.
